Write a Short Note on NCFTE-2009
National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education 2009 is a Government of India draft created for proposing changes and updates required to the National council for teacher education. Its main features are:
- Teachers should be prepared to care for children and love to be with them.
- Teachers should change their perception of a child as a receiver of knowledge and encourage its capacity to construct knowledge.
- The programme should help teachers or potential teachers to develop social sensitivity and consciousness and finer human sensibilities.
