It was discovered that many instructors lacked training, and steps were taken to reduce the backlog. Quality and quantity were the two key issues with teacher education. In 1948, the Government Training College in Allahabad was transformed into the Central Pedagogical Institute, and the Central Institute of Education was founded in Delhi.
