National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education 2009 is a Government of India draft created for proposing changes and updates required to the National council for teacher education. Its main features are: • Teachers, should be prepared to care for children and love to be with them. Teachers should change their perception of child as a receiver of knowledge and encourage its capacity to construct knowledge. The programme should help teachers or potential teachers to develop social sensitivity and consciousness and finer human sensibilities.
