Write a short note on DIET?

Following the guidelines set forth in the National Policy on Education (1986), DIETs were created in several states "to offer academic and resource support at the grassroots level for the achievement of various methods and programmes being conducted in the domains of elementary and adult education." DIÉTs are a component of a bigger plan to accomplish national objectives in the fields of elementary and adult education. Because of this, DIETs cannot operate alone and must play a part in completing and enhancing the functions of other organisations.
