Define Personality?

The word personality comes from the Latin word persona, which meaning "mask." The mask used by Roman theatrical players to change their face make-up. The audience anticipated the performer to fulfil a specific role after putting on the mask. It did not, however, imply that the individual playing the role possessed such characteristics.
