- The Sociology of Education: The investigation of how individual experiences and public entities influence learning and its consequences are known as the sociology of education. It is about the public education system in advanced industrial societies. Ezewu (1990) defines the sociology of education as “a scientific study of human behaviour within groups, with a focus on convening regularities and orders within every behaviour, and on representing those landscapes as theoretical propositions describing a broad range of behaviour patterns within learning environments.”
