An assessment that is conducted internally is one that is done by a member of the actual project team. Such an evaluator, obviously, has the benefit of completely comprehending the reasoning behind the development, as well as an appreciation of any potential issues, and should also command the respect and cooperation of the other team members. On the other side, because of their direct connection with the project, such an evaluator could find it challenging to criticise the work completed and may be unable to provide any creative fixes for any faults that are detected.
