Environmental Education is increasingly a prominent part of primary, secondary and tertiary education in the world. The formal education sector plays a vital role in environmental education and awareness by exposing the younger generation to the information, issues, analysis and interpretations of the environment and development.   First degree and Secondary level: At level ist, the attempt is made to aware the child of the environment. Emphases should be on building awareness followed by actual life situations and conservation. At the two-degree level, the objective must be real-life examples, experiences, awareness and problem identification. At level third or at the college level, maximum emphasis should be on knowledge regarding sustainable development and conservation.
