What is Educational Guidance?

Brewer says educational guidance may be defined as a conscious effort to assist in the intellectual growth of the individual-anything that has to do with instruction or with learning may come under the term educational guidance. In short, educational guidance means giving all assistance to boys and girls in making proper progress in their school. In other words, 'it is a conscious effort to assist in the intellectual growth of an individual.'
