A Supervisor acts as a professional trainer to develop new skills in his team members or colleagues from time to time for succession planning. Besides, he also acts as a Co-ordinator, Communicator, and takes suggestions, reports, complaints, issues, grievances and feedback from his staff/colleagues to the management.
