National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2005)

The National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2005) is one of four National Curriculum Frameworks that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) of India produced in 1975, 1988, 2000, and 2005. ” This article aims to offer a framework within which educators may pick and schedule activities they believe kids should have. The curriculum should be conceived as a structure that articulates necessary experiences in order to realise educational objectives. For this, it ought to respond to a few fundamental inquiries:

  • What educational purposes should the schools seek to achieve?
  • What educational experiences can be provided that are likely to achieve these purposes?
  • How can these educational experiences be meaningfully organized?
  • How do we ensure that these educational purposes are indeed being accomplished?”
