What do you mean by Grammar

The formation of sentences and utterances, as well as the entire system and structure of a language, are referred to as grammar.

Two fundamental rules govern grammar: first, the placement of morphemes (words or parts of words) in sentences; second, the structure of morphemes (syntax). The word, grammatike, which means “letters of the alphabet, item written?,” was borrowed into English from the Old French word gramaire via the Latin and Greek languages.

Pamphlet for Grammar, penned by William Bullokar in 1586, was the first English grammar. The Pamphlet for Grammar served as the foundation for a total of 16 additional grammars that were released in the late 17th century. A Grammar of the English Language: In a Series of Letters by William Cobbett was released in 1848. Numerous grammar books have been released since then.
