What is an achievement test?

A test used to measure a student’s progress and successes over time in a learning environment is known as an achievement test. An example of an accomplishment test, also known as a summative test, is the annual exams given by schools and colleges at the conclusion of the semester. According to the NCF 2005, language evaluations must be reoriented to the measuring of language competency and not related to success with respect to particular syllabi. Instead, they advise using the portfolio style of evaluation.
