What is The Importance of Evaluation in Education

The instructor, the student, the parent, the administration, and the profession at large value evaluation. The instructor continually assesses the success of his instruction in order to refine his methods and approaches and deepen his understanding of his students. The right to know what progress is being made and whether or not one is making the objectives one has been assisted in setting for themselves belongs to every kid who attends school. The administrator is keen to assess the merits and shortcomings of the educational programme he has made an effort to establish. The parent has a right to be informed of his child’s academic progress.

He has as much responsibility as the teacher and the administrator in helping determine the extent of the progress of his child.
