USA Higher Education is one of the most advanced educational systems where the main body of the State and the local government of USA play a crucial role in designing the curriculum of higher institutes. In the USA higher learning institutes is the final stage of learning for students.

U.K Higher Education System

U.k is best known for its higher education because their standards are highly regarded, with experts on many academic topics, and they’re generally high in internationally university rankings. The British higher education system has been the basis for higher education standards around the world for a long time, with revolutionary teaching styles and modern facilities. A student under UK education system can find a large number of subject choices, especially when it comes to higher studies. For example, if a student wants to pursue his/her career in the field of arts or theatre, he might not get as many course options in Indian colleges as you can get in a UK-based college.

 Difference b/w Indian and USA Higher Education

USA institutes provide the standardized format of content and their major focus lies on the extra-curricular activities of the students. Whereas in Indian teaching institutes, teachers focus more on curricular activities of the students by avoiding  extra-curricular activities in institutes.

Whereas Indian higher institutes of learning pay more importance on learning material as compare they provide research-based and practical work more.

UK definitely has an edge over India when it comes to higher studies and doctoral studies. One of the core reasons is that the education system in India focuses more on theory than practical.

Distance education also known as distance learning or distributed learning, or remote education, has now existed for ages. It involves acquiring information from methods other then the traditional way of gaining knowledge attending institutions. Some recent definitions have focused on it as a new development, involving advanced technology.

Distance learning has risen in popularity around the world and has become a popular educational option in India. Distance Education Degree is valid in USA but there are some specific approvals required to get validated in the United States of America (USA).The US is the undoubted leader in online education in the world today, with hundreds of online colleges and thousands of online courses available to students.

In India, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) was the first correspondence courses and set the precedent for distance education because people in rural India lack access to a primary education, and adults find it difficult to go to a university education to complete their studies.

In U.K, Wolsey Hall, founded in 1894,was the first distance learning college in the UK. 

 UK universities also offer distance learning , which allows students to combine work and family alongside study. They provide all the courses via an online portal, online seminars and one to one meetings with the assigned tutor is also provided as well.
