The chapter deals with an in- depth study of  Creativity, it’s meaning, nature, process and its theories stated by American psychologists, Guilford and Torrance.

The lesson also deals with the Concept of Intelligence, Guilford’s concept of Intellect, the relationship of creativity with Intelligence as well as Academic Achievement concerning studies carried out in India and abroad.

A special emphasis is made on the personality profile of a creative person, artist and creative scientist as well.

The topic ends with “Creativity in Teaching and Learning”, where students will get to know about the development of creativity, and techniques like brainstorming, Creativity Problem solving, the Synectics model and measurement of Creativity talent.
